Fame, fortune and sweet liberty

The film "Fame, fortune and sweet liberty" tells in eight scenes the adventurous story of two emigrants. It starts in their home towns and then takes them to the United States of America via  Bremen/Bremerhaven.

The emigrant Johann Moeller starts his journey in Hesse  in 1854. He is played by the actor, Michael Kausch.

Jadwiga Bachleda emigrates from Poland in 1907 and makes her new home in Chicago. Jadwiga is played by the actress Anna Nowak.

The various stages of their journey are narrated by the actor Dr. Peter Schütze.
